What you love about coaching: I believe that my purpose is to be a catalyst that supports others in expressing themselves fully and living into their unique potential. I love that coaching allows me to live into this purpose in a tangible way.
Favourite coaching book: Emotional Agility – by Susan David. It’s not a “coaching book” officially, I suppose, but a key skill and philosophy that I find so valuable to support how I show up as a coach and how I support clients to navigate their own personal landscape.
Your happy place: on the dancefloor or in an Epsom salt bath with candles and a good podcast – depends on the day.
Punctuation mark that best represents your personality and why? The question mark. I think it captures the part of my personality that is naturally inquisitive and always embraces learning. Ending a statement with a question mark feels spacious. It gives the feeling of not knowing all things “for sure” and there is an openness to other possibilities.
3 words friends would use to describe you: Loyal, Conscientious, Fun-loving
Advice to a new coach: Hold all the frameworks lightly; don’t underestimate the value and the power of showing up fully present and holding space for someone.
Why it’s important to you to be an ICF Vancouver member: I believe connection is really valuable for coaches to stay in community with one another. I also am newer to the Vancouver area and am glad to connect like-minded friends through the local chapter.
