What is International Coaching Week (ICW)?

ICW is a week-long celebration that educates the public about the value of working with a professional coach and acknowledges the results and progress made through the coaching process.

Want to join the celebration?

ICF Vancouver Chapter is thrilled to be hosting a number of activities (see below) during ICW that are designed to promote and build the coaching profession.

You can get involved by:
– volunteering to join us during ICW
– continuing to spread the word about coaching to humans everywhere!
– celebrating yourself and all the wonderful coaches you know who are growing this valuable profession

Here’s what we’re doing during ICW!

1. Coach Giving Full Circle Pilot Project – LAUNCH!

ICF Vancouver Chapter will be launching the Coach Giving Full Circle Pilot Project on Monday, April 29. To kick off this exciting new program, decision-makers from three non-profit organizations that have a profound impact on their community will experience first-hand the potential of coaching as they co-create with us a customized group coaching program that benefits them and their organizations.

This pilot project is an extension of the existing Coach Giving Leadership Program and is designed to provide the benefits of coaching in a group setting and to facilitate positive transformation of individuals and whole organizations.

2. Public Speed Coaching Event

***Volunteers Needed***

Date: Tuesday, April 30
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Where: UBC Robson Square
Cost: FREE!

Members of the public will be invited to experience a round of 10-15 minute coaching sessions with volunteer coaches. After each session, the clients will rotate to the next coach (like speed dating!). By the end, clients will walk away with a good sense of what coaching is all about.

Are you a certified coach who is passionate about promoting the coaching profession? Join us for this speed coaching event!

PRIZES will be awarded!!

To volunteer, email us at communications(at)icfvancouver.ca!

Can’t volunteer but want to help? Great! Please tell your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours (anyone, really!) who may be interested in being a client about this free event.

3. Lunch and Learn

***Nominations Needed***

Is your organization, or an organization you know, interested in learning more about the value of coaching? If yes, nominate them today!

ICF Vancouver Chapter board members will deliver a lunch and learn at your office, free of charge, during ICW. If there’s strong interest, we’ll look at running regular lunch and learns.

To lunch and learn more, email us at communications(at)icfvancouver.ca!

4. Member Survey

We want to hear from you! You’ll be receiving a brief 5-question survey during ICW.

The information collected will help us better understand your needs and support you by aligning future programs with your interests.

An overview of the survey results will be sent to you in May.

All participants of the 5-question survey will be placed in a draw to win a free pass to the next Vancouver Chapter meeting!
