I found a wonderful resource for creating our biggest and best life at IDEO.org. It’s an organization that practices human-centered design to solve some of the world’s most difficult problems.
When I looked more closely into their tools and resources, it seemed to me that coaching is a natural human-centered design activity that we practice every day through our work with clients.
I was first introduced to the three phases of Human-Centered Design in a session on workplace innovation led by Dave Whittington and hosted by Royal Roads University. It was an energizing presentation that RRU kindly shared and I wanted to pass along.
The dual notions of ‘design thinking’ and ‘creative confidence’ are closely linked to hearing, creating and delivering something awesome. There’s also a special section devoted to mindsets, and my hope is you’ll enjoy hearing the stories from these creative and inspiring folks as much as I did.
Cheers,
