Do you have a desire to give back to your coaching community?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to coach with youth or young adults?
If this has ever crossed your mind, then the Coach Giving Committee has the volunteer opportunity for you!
The experience begins with a one-day program that introduces coaches, coaching skills and an opportunity for youth to experience coaching. Beyond the one-day program the youth may choose to work one on one with a coach for three sessions as they build their confidence entering the world of work.
Our next one-day workshop runs March 7, 2016 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in Port Coquitlam.
You are able to use your volunteer coaching time towards your pro bono coaching hours for certification or accreditation.
Please note that you must have completed a recognized coach training program, be an ICF Vancouver Chapter meeting member and be available to participate for the one-day workshop to be eligible to participate in the program. Following the workshop, you must be willing to coach youth for an additional three hours of coaching.
We require a total of 6 – 7 coaches to participate in this initiative and it is on a first come first serve basis.
If you are interested or have any questions, please send an email to
