On this glorious sunny day of June, I would like to take the opportunity to reach out and wish you a wonderful summer. Whether you are working on exciting projects, sharing memory-making moments with friends or family, re-charging your battery or simply taking in the beauty of this amazing place we live in, Greater Vancouver, British Columbia – here’s to an outstanding summer of 2015!
Before winding-down for the summer, the ICF Vancouver Board met on June 16th with a primary focus on our duties and responsibilities to be met in the months leading up to board elections in November. This includes capturing our achievements and successes along with lessons learned to date as we prepare for the annual report, ensuring necessary actions are completed to meet the goals set for the final strecth and tying up loose ends after a busy 13-month period. With any luck, a bit of R&R will also take place!
This is a perfect opportunity to express deepest gratitude to each and every board Director and Committee Volunteer who tirelessly work on our behalf so that we may play our part to see humanity flourish through coaching.
Cherie Williams, Donna Howes, Janet Davie, Maria Malmgren, Mike Jahraus, Pooja Khandelwal, Smita Singh, Tricia Hollyer; Linda Finkelstein, Louann McCurdy, Tony Arimare and Heather Walker – THANK YOU for your tireless energy, numerous hours and tremendous efforts you put into the work you do on behalf of our Chapter.
And to you, fellow ICF member, if you are curious about how you too might get involved and play an active part in our successful ICF Vancouver Chapter, please reach out to one of our members. Our contact information can be found on the About Us page. Let’s meet for coffee, have a chat, and explore the role you too might play as we work toward our vision ‘to have the biggest pool of highly trained, engaged, successful and credentialed professional coaches that are connected to the community, in Canada‘.
Until then, wishing you once again a restful, successful, playful and wonderful summer!
Respectfully yours,
Suzanne
