For the first Chapter meeting of the year (10th January 2017), we were delighted to host 2016 Prism Winners, Automotive Fuel Cell Corporation (AFCC-Auto), who shared with us their transformational 3 year journey to become an integrated coaching organisation.
Glenn St Onge, Head of HR at AFCC-Auto recounted his first experience of telling vs coaching, and his personal executive and leadership coaching journey. He was encouraged by the CEO to drive forward an HR department and coaching philosophy. The 3-year campaign was described as a constantly evolving pilot that transformed lives and the way the company approached and solved innovation challenges for the future of zero emission transportation.
Today, AFCC-Auto developed an integrated coaching culture arching over HR, every corporate program, from employee on-boarding and off-boarding, leadership development, team effectiveness, career development, and performance management.
What started as a seed, has rapidly developed into a success story on talent attraction, engagement, talent development and retention of hard to find technical and management talent. Their proven ROI model has been awarded by both the Ford Leadership Award and Vancouver Chapter Prism Award for 2016.
